Emmi & Ian planned the most thoughtful and intimate wedding weekend. It started with a rehearsal dinner at the Ashby Inn and Restaurant with 27 of their closest friends and family.
The Bride & Groom rented out the Inn in Paris, VA, for the whole weekend for their guests to stay at. The celerbation began on the Terrace with a 6-course tasting menu and wine pairings. The food, drinks, speeches, and laughs covered the whole night with so much joy. 10 people gave toasts between the courses, sharing how they had seen the love of the almost newlyweds grow, and how it was fierce and rooted in Christ, that they knew would last their lifetime. Friends prayed over them and wished them all the kindest things.
The Ashby’s food was nothing short of spectacular. The courses featured farm-to-table and seasonal ingredients, including Seared Foie Gras, Grilled Octopus, Spaghettini All Tartufo Nero, Potato Crusted Halibut, and a Rack of Lamb.
Once the tears were shed and bellies were full, the couple shared that they had a surprise for the remainder of the evening. The guests walked into the Inn to Always Fun Casinos, with Blackjack in the library and Craps in another room. They played for some really fun prizes, all while enjoying their dessert course and late-night Wagyu sliders.
And to think that this was only the beginning of their wedding weekend!
