I've always been someone who loves being around others and thrives in a people-filled environment, but especially one with order. I tried to find a career that would bring those together and allowed me to be creative yet thought-out and precise. I found wedding planning when I was in a wedding that didn't have a coordinator, and I saw how it affected the Bride and Groom in sad ways. I knew there was a better way - a way I could bring more organization to elevate the stress they were feeling. After helping them through their wedding day the best I could as part bridesmaid/part coordinator, I instantly knew that it was something I wanted to do. Through all the last-minute decisions, the stressful situations, and the timelines I was putting together that caused others to panic, I felt calm and peace.

I worked for wedding planners in Greenville, SC as a weekend job in 2021 and began full time when I moved to Charleston, SC in early 2022. I've had the joy of walking with more than 45 couples through their planning experience and their big day. Now living in Washington D.C., I love being able to bring my Lowcountry and Southern charm training to the north.

I am unapologetically a Christian and it is what motivates me and gives me purpose - doing everything to the glory of God, even those timelines! I am always down to eat a good taco or sushi, and my husband and I love playing Catan or Dutch Blitz with friends. We recently welcomed the sweetest little girl into our lives in June of 2025. I value integrity and honesty, and friendship is dear to me. So now that you know more about me, let's be friends! I would love to plan your wedding with you! 🫶🏼

When I got married I didn't have a coordinator to bounce my ideas off of or to keep my emotions from running. Whether you're my plan A friend who is just looking for a coordinator or wanting someone to support through the whole-shebang, there is no replacement for a coordinator and it's important that you find someone that you trust for you to be able to step back and fully enjoy the day you've been planning since you wore a pillow case as a veil with your neighbor bf.

Planning a wedding from the opposite coast could have been overwhelming, but hiring Emily as our wedding coordinator was the best decision we made!
